How is everyone doing? For those working in the teaching industry like myself. Our summer is coming to an end. It’s time for us to head back to the classrooms and teach these young children. For the rest of you, enjoy summer until September hits. We can happily welcome the Fall season together.
I noticed that 2022 has been rough for so many people. Many are going through family, job, financial, and personal issues. Some are battling trauma and mental health. With everything going on in the world, it has affected so many and we don’t even know it. There’s people facing difficulties right now and yet still manage to keep a smile on their face with a positive attitude. I would love to be a part of that group of beautiful people. So, despite what I’m going through. I want to take the time to show some gratitude.
I want to start with God. I’m thankful I have Him in my life. I don’t have the best relationship with Him at the moment. But, I plan on working on myself and re-learning who He is so I can build my relationship with Him to draw closer to Him. He’s helped me endure and get through so much this past year and more.
Second, I am thankful that I’m aware of my traumas and insecurities. Many of us face these head-on and we trying our best to become the best version of ourself. It is NOT easy but we will make it through. Unfortunately, some are unaware of these things and head to a course of self-destruction. I was once there at some point in my life. But, that is a whole other story. Now, I’m doing my best to be a better person for myself and those around me.
Third, is the people I currently have in my life. Recently, I lost a good chunk of friends. They supported me through tough times. But, at the moment, I’m unable to reach. For the handful of people I have in my life, I am extremely thankful they are with me. Without them, I would probably lose my mind.
Lastly, it’s the adventures I took and the lessons I’ve learned this year. I have never been out this much in my lifetime (thanks to a wonderful human being that has pushed me out of my comfort zone and encourages me to explore) and I’ve learned so many lessons that will change my life for the better. I’m experiencing so many things. Some, I wish I never had to experience and some I’m happy I did. I’m growing as an individual and I’m loving it. Again, change isn’t easy but it is a necessity in life.
As 2022 continues to go on. I’m looking forward to more events and people that come across my life that can learn from and show gratitude towards. Share in the comments below what you are grateful for.
