As I mentioned before, Autumn/Fall brings me peace. I’m going into detail on why it brings me peace. My anxiety on a daily is to the roof. I get anxious, I worry constantly, I replay events from my day where I could have done better or I should have said this or that, and from the moment I wake up to the moment I hit the pillow my thoughts, ideas, and failed to-dos race through my head and there are nights I can’t control it.
I journal constantly on My Fall Collection Handmade Journals which has 100 sheets of thick paper so the ink won’t bleed through and that allows my notes, thoughts, and ideas to last longer so I can always refer back to them. I know I can deal with it year-round but when it’s this time of year. I feel like there are so many more things to help keep me distracted and helps control my anxiety. I can take walks and watch the beautiful leaves change colors and watch them hit the ground, I can go to a coffee shop and order my favorite season drink (no, it’s not a pumpkin spice latte), and I can finally take my cat out for walks and get her all dressed up in her little outfits!
To me, this is why Autumn/Fall brings me peace. It brings me warmth, comfort and this is the season where families get together and enjoy one another’s company.
