Hello beautiful Readers! I want to come on here real quick and see how you all are you doing? How are you holding up during this quarantine? Please let me know what’s keeping you busy and how you all are doing in the comments below or reach out to me through email.
Today I want to share what’s been keeping me busy during quarantine. What’s keeping me busy is doing on what I love, and that is blogging! Last week I took a break due to my mental health but while we are staying at home I have more time in my hands then I ever had before (obviously). I’m going to put my time and energy into what I love. I know I use to complain about my crazy schedule and how it took up a lot of my time and I couldn’t focus on my blog, but now that I have the time I’m going to put that into good use. I’m enjoying every minute I have to work on my blog. My blog is important to me ❤️. Another thing that I’ve been wanting to do is spend more time with family. Family is everything to me. I realized how important it was to spend time with the ones you love back in 2017. Once you lose someone close that’s in your family, you view quality time with lose you love differently. You cherish every moment and hold the memories close to your heart. Anything can happen at anytime. Another thing I found myself doing more is reading the bible. The bible is filled with wonderful accounts that you can learn from and it’s a great reminder that God is there to listen to your prayers and the bible reveals his beautiful qualities. One scripture that can help us through this tough time is 1 Peter 5:7 “While you throw all your anxiety on him [God], beause he cares for you.” All that we are going through, share it with God. Pour your heart out. Another one of my favorite scriptures is Psalms 83:18. I will let you look that up in your bible. Another thing I enjoy is reading. Something I’ve been lacking on lately but I try to find time to put in my schedule. If you have time, definitely take the time to read. It’s so relaxing and so entertaining (well at least for me). It also increases vocabulary and gives you knowledge (depending on what you are read). I personally non-fiction books and I like to have a physcial copy in my hands while I read. It just make it more enjoyable for me and my eyes get a break from the blaring light that comes from your phone or tablet.
I know many of you have children and might not have much time in your hands. But mamas and dads, I want to let you know that you all are incredible! Keep up the awesome work you are doing with your little ones (or teenagers) and cherish the moments you have with them. Hold those memories close and it will definitely give you all something to talk about in the future. For those of you that have lost your jobs, take it one day at a time. Try not to stress yourself out. That will only make things worse. I know it’s easier said than done, but remember to breath because you got this superstar! And for those of you that are working, let’s be thankful we have our jobs and let’s keep working hard at what we do because we are great! Let’s thank those on the frontlines risking their lives to help others. Thank them everyday for what they do and see what they need. They work endlessly and they are definitely hero’s. Let’s do our best to keep them safe and healthy. Remember we are surrounded by loved ones and we have those that will be there for us. Our mental health is very important so if you need to vent, call a trusted friend and vent! Let it out. And speaking of mental health, mental health awareness is 3 days away 💚! Let’s take the time to see how we can help each other through these tough times. You are loved and remember to reach out when you need help. I love you all and remember, everything otay! 👌
